Major AOP Events

AOP frequently takes U.S. admission officers on recruiting trips to China. AOP also brings Chinese high school principals and Study Abroad agencies to visit U.S. universities and college. This page shows some of the events.

June 2015

Under AOP's guidance, US Midwestern Universities Center's Beijing Office hosted a Forum on Sino-American Education Exchange on June 20, 2015. AOP's general manager Dr Guangzhong Chen hosted the talks. Its topics included the status of and policies on studying abroad from China to the US, scholarships and fellowships, categorization of American higher education institutions, and detailed understanding of I-20s. Several education experts from Yale University, University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, Madonna University, and Saint Mary's College delivered speeches. This event attracted more than 60 attendants, including members of the College of Continued Education of Tsinghua University, China People's University Affiliated High School, Beijing Xicheng District Board of Education, and Beijing International Education Institution.

July 2014

AOP has established its US Midwest Universities/Schools China Tour Office, operating as of today. The first task of this office is to organize a group of recruiting officers from 3 to 5 US midwestern universities and, possibly, 1 or 2 high schools, to visit 4 or 5 southwestern Chinese cities in order to recruit students. This program will be called the "US Midwest Universities/Schools China Tour", and future tours organized by AOP will be conducted under this name.

March 2014

Guangzhong Chen from AOP accompanied representatives from the following 14 US universities in a visit to Xinjiang Province, China, where the group held information sessions with students and parents.

According to, this was the first large scale US university recruitment in Xinjiang Province.

    Tianjian Agricultural University visited AOP partner schools, Madonna University, to discuss the plan for a 2+2 program.

    AOP works with several universities to host the education program in 5 Lakes Global International Economic Forum.

    AOP arranged a delegation of high school principals on a educational tour to the U.S.A. The group visited many of AOP partner schools.

    On Chinese Near Year's Day, which coincided with St. Valentine's Day this year on February 14, AOP staff celebrated the occasion with several Chinese students who recently came to Madonna University and University of Toledo. Below are some photos taken in the party.
